Ranfurly Conservation Area

Ranfurly was built as a commuter dormitory on elevated land above Bridge of Weir from the 1880s to 1910s with large houses in various styles set in well wooded grounds. It was designated a conservation area in 1982.

• Hazelwood Lane (all properties)
• Hazelwood Road (all properties from Prieston Road to Kilgraston Road)
• Horsewood Road (properties on east side between Thriplee Road and Prieston Road only)
• Kilbarchan Road (nos 1-27 and 2-36 only)
• Kilgraston Road ('Beauly' & 'The Grange' only)
• Lawnmarnock Road ('The Barn' & 'Tigh-an-Rhu' only)
• Main Street (‘Freeland House’ only)
• Montrose Terrace (all properties)
• Prieston Road (all properties)
• Ranfurly Place (Sports Club, 'Glencairn', 'Minard', 'Dilkhusha', 'Gorwood', 'Aincroft' and 'Ranfurly House' only)
• Ranfurly Road (‘Craigmount’ & ‘Torholm’ only)
• Watt Road (properties between Hazelwood Road & Bonar Crescent/Watt Lane only)
