Roadworks and Traffic Regulation Orders

Here you can see a list of current roadworks and traffic regulation orders in Renfrewshire. The list doesn't show works being carried out by the utility companies such as Scottish Power or BT, except for those which are causing major disruption. These can now be viewed on the Scottish Roadworks Register.

Amey Highways maintain the Renfrewshire motorways and trunk roads for the Scottish Government. See the current roadworks on motorways and trunk roads at the Traffic Scotland website.

The list below shows expected start dates, end dates and durations of events that may affect routes. However, this information may change due to unforeseen circumstances and because of this cannot be guaranteed. Roads division apologise for any inconvenience caused but cannot accept liability for any such inconvenience.

A760	A760, Scotland Gas Networks gas main work, single lane closure with temporary traffic signals, 2 separate locations, either side of 'The Hole' railway bridge (cycle track) 1.5 miles South West of Lochwinnoch village	From Wednesday 15 October, for 4 weeks: 2 weeks each site. Only one site at a time, 400yds apart.
Hillington	A736 at Hillington Road/Hillington Interchange. Local lane closures due to Glasgow bound M8 slip road closure	From 22 September Further details contact Amey on 0800 028 1414
Lochwinnoch	7.5 tonne weight restriction on Lochwinnoch Bridge. Single file traffic with traffic lights	From June 2002 indefinitely
Paisley	Greenhill Road Paisley, from McKenzie Street to Clark Street, closure for resurfacing. Drivers are advised to expect delays and congestion in local area. This will have particular impact on Underwood Road and St James Street	Week commencing 24 November, for approximately 1 week.
