Launch of the Renfrewshire Access Strategy
Renfrewshire Council launched its Outdoor Access Strategy in 2005. The Strategy provides a framework for the development of paths in Renfrewshire. It has a vision for an integrated network of routes for walking, cycling, horse riding and water based activities which can be reached from all communities and by all people of Renfrewshire.

The strategy takes account of routes to schools, jobs, community and recreational opportunities. It has been prepared in consultation with key stakeholder agencies, community representatives, user groups and land managers from across Renfrewshire.
