Introduction

These are the standards of service you can expect from us in dealing with policy and regeneration enquiries. We may not be able to meet these targets in all cases, but we expect to most of the time.

Contact by phone
We will:

• Answer our phones quickly, normally within five rings
• Return phone calls, to officers who are temporarily unavailable, within one day

Contact by email or letter
We will:

• Reply to emails and letters within 10 working days
• Reply to formal complaints within 13 working days
• Respond to requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act within 20 working days
• Write all our letters in plain language and in a clear typeface
