Types of fine
There are two types of penalty charge notice in Renfrewshire, off-street fines and on-street fines. These fines are given by Renfrewshire Council car park attendants and parking attendants, and should be paid to Renfrewshire Council in Paisley.
Costs
Off-street penalty charge notices are
- No ticket displayed - £30.00
- Staying longer that your ticket allows - £20.00

Please give as much detail as possible about the fine, including:
- the charge number (prefixed 'RO' for off-street car parks and 'RP' for on-street parking)
- your vehicle registration number
- the date and location of charge
- the name and address of the person making the payment, or
- the person you're making the payment for.
If you don't think you should have been given a penalty charge notice, you can appeal. The appeal should be in writing. You should send your appeal to the Head of Roads and Transportation at the below address.
Please try to include as much information to support your appeal as possible, including
- the name and address of person making the appeal
- the charge number (prefixed 'RO' for off-street Car Parks and 'RP' for on-street)
- your vehicle registration number
- the date and location of charge
- the reasons for appeal that are to be considered and the circumstances surrounding them
