The table below details roofers who have been accepted on to our Trusted Trader scheme.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the comments. Download Acrobat Reader here.

Once you have entered into a contract with a trader:
  • ensure you are given a feedback form before the work begins.
  • on completion of the job, fill in the form and return it to us by Freepost.
  • When we receive your feedback, we will add your comments and scoring to allow other consumers make an informed choice about the trader.

Dispute resolution service

If there is a problem with any goods or service that you buy from a Trusted Trader, please follow the following process:
  1. In the first instance, you should contact the trader in writing and give them the opportunity to resolve any issues you may have. Send your complaint letter by Recorded Delivery and keep a copy of the letter and the Recorded Delivery receipt for records. The Citizens Advice consumer service have produced template letters to make a complaint.
  2. If you do not receive a response, or remain unhappy please contact us via Citizens Advice consumer service on 08454 04 05 06. They will provide you with initial advice and if necessary pass you to Trading Standards.
  3. Trading Standards will investigate the complaint and mediate between both parties to attempt to resolve any issues.
  4. If mediation is unsuccessful, information will be provided with details of how to progress through the relevant litigation procedure.
