Weekly collections for grey and blue bins

Scotland has new, challenging recycling targets. To achieve these targets, we introduced an improved waste and recycling service for Renfrewshire in 2009.
Check when to put your bins out by entering your postcode, or address in our online collection day checker.
Renfrewshire residents will continue to have a weekly bin collection: the grey bin for non-recycled waste one week and the blue bin for recycled waste the following week.
We've provided most households in Renfrewshire with a new blue wheeled bin and posted details of the new service collection arrangements and dates.
The blue and green boxes already in use are now used for glass recycling only, and are emptied every four weeks.
The new service allows a wider range of materials to be recycled in the blue bin. If you want to check the materials that go into your bins and boxes, please see our web pages for:
