Dogs bark for a variety of reasons and this can sometimes cause nuisance to your neighbours.

To stop your dog from becoming a nuisance to neighbours, you can take the following steps:

• Don't leave your dog alone for long periods of time
• Keep your dog occupied with a toy
• Praise quiet and calm behaviour
• Leave the radio on at a low level to give the dog some company
• Exercise your dog before leaving them for long periods of time
• Gradually build your dog up to leaving them for a long period of time
