Grass cutting and ground maintenance

Weather permitting, we regularly cut the grass around the main roads leading into Renfrewshire, the town centres and parks.
We also provide a programme of weed treatment on public roads and footpaths during the growing season. Under normal growing conditions, this is usually enough to keep weed growth under control.
We spray all areas at least three times over a two year period, in either spring or autumn and operate a flexible programme to suit the needs of the community. When spraying, we always protect the environment by:
- using approved chemicals
- using well-maintained equipment
- taking account of weather conditions
- monitoring the results.
