Please help us improve the trading standards web pages by taking our short survey.
Do you think you've been ripped off?
Unfortunately, some people find themselves in a situation where they feel they have been 'ripped off' by a trader.
The Trading Standards Institute have set up a website called Rip-off tip-off. It was set up to encourage members of the public to report traders who may be ripping people off. These include
- cowboy builders
- doorstep traders
- counterfeit product sellers
- loan sharks
- bogus homeworking schemes, and
- bogus competitions.
