Trading standards would like to keep in touch with you by sending you periodic emails about our service, called 'e-updates'. If you want to receive our e-updates we will:

• let you know about any new scams
• keep you up-to-date with important consumer issues
• tell you about important product safety recalls
• let you know about our service changes
• ask your opinion on important issues
• tell you how we are performing.

We promise not share your details with any third party.

If you want us to send you our e-updates, please send an email to ts.es@renfrewshire.gov.uk saying 'yes' and stating 'e-updates' as the subject. If you sign up, we'll use the information to provide the services that you ask for. We may occasionally contact you to help us evaluate and improve the service that we offer. The information that you send will be held for as long as you want access to the services.

If you want to stop receiving e-updates in the future, simply email us saying 'stop' and stating 'e-updates' as the subject.If you tell us that you want to cancel the subscription, we'll remove you from our mailing list and your details will be deleted.
