In a bath, or a bus, or a bed
In a shower, or a shop, or a shed,
On a plane, or a picnic in the park,
At the dawn of the day, or the dark,
In a street, or the sand by the sea,
With a monkey in a coconut tree,
In a car, or a coach, or a chair,
Sit and look at a book
ANYWHERE!
( Laurence Anholt )

Babies love books and that's official! It's never too early to introduce your child to the world of books and children love being read to. What are the benefits?

Small girl reading a book

  • It's great fun
  • It will give them a head start when they go to school
  • It will help develop language skills
  • It will help develop imagination, creativity and concentration
  • It will help with talking and understanding language
  • It will develop listening and problem solving skills
