Sources for help and information include:
- if you are a student at a college or university in the UK, studying at HNC level or above, you may be able to apply for help with your tuition fees, student loans, bursary and other allowances. If your home is in Scotland, or you are studying in Scotland, you can find out more by contacting the Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS).
- the Renfrewshire Educational Trust makes grants for educational purposes, including travel, music and the arts, to individuals and schools within the Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde areas
- ILA Scotland can provide funding towards the cost of learning for eligible ILA Scotland courses
- Renfrewshire Libraries provide free access to the Educational Grants Directory, via KnowUK. All you need is your Renfrewshire library ticket to get connected from your home, school or college PC. To find out about becoming a library member please use the 'libraries' link on this website
- Paisley Central Reference Library can provide you with additional directories and guides offering information on financial support and other student and learning issues
