Children participating in the Sports Academy

St. Andrew’s Academy was once again the venue for Active Schools Sports Academy. The holiday programme, now in its 3rd year, provides physical activity for P1-P7 children from the St. Andrew’s Academy and Paisley Grammar Clusters.

More than 230 children signed up for the week long programme, participating in dance, basketball, football, rugby, playground games, netball, athletics and badminton. Renfrewshire council coaches along with JSLA pupils and Renfrewshire School of Sport Education students helped deliver the wide range of activities.

Sports Academy Easter 2008 will be held at St. Andrew’s Academy from 14 to 18 April 2008.
