These standards outline the performance targets that we have set for the library service.
We will display information on how we performed annually in each library.
- 98% of our staff will attend customer care training or complete a refresher course annually.
- 15% ( approx 40,000 items) of library stock each year will be new stock and we will make sure that we maintain a stock that reflects the needs of Renfrewshire.
- We will aim to supply 70% of requested items within 15 days.
- We will aim to answer 100% of our information enquiries.
- In a rolling two year period our Clubs and Groups Database will be totally updated.
- Paisley Central library and our community libraries will achieve 95% of publicised opening hours.
- We will host a range of activities across Renfrewshire to encourage users of all ages to use our libraries.
- We will place promotional book collections in our libraries to encourage variety of choice. We will also hold monthly reading/writing groups in selected libraries.
- We will provide free computer access in all libraries and make available a range of PC training courses.
- We will actively seek partners to provide an extended service for our customers.
