Young Scot Access All Areas logo
The National Entitlement Card is a card for young people which entitles you to loads of great discounts on travel! Not only that, your card can carry all the benefits of the Young Scot card.

The card can get you 1/3 off adult single fares on buses all over Scotland, 1 free young person’s railcard cutting up to 1/3 off all rail travel, 2 free return ferry journeys to the mainland if you live on an island and of course, all the regular fantastic discounts and benefits your regular Young Scot card offers on top of all that.


Your free Young Scot NEC card can get you:

  • cheaper travel on buses, trains and ferries
  • discounts in hundreds of shops
  • local leisure and library services


The card also acts as proof of your age.

In Renfrewshire, young people aged between 16 and 18 can apply for this card

To get a card, fill in the form available from your school or your local library or phone the number below. Once completed you can return the form to your local library or school for validation.

After your application has been processed your card will be posted to your home address.
