Renfrewshire Council Education and Leisure Services have a strong track record in parental involvement at all levels, from involving parents in their individual children's learning to supporting schools at representative level.

Children do better if their parents are involved in their learning and education. Research proves it.

The Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006 recognises parents have a vital role to play in their children's education and aims to help parents be:

Under the act, we have a duty to promote parents' involvement. You can help us to do this by giving us your views. If you are a parent of a child in a Renfrewshire school, please take the time to fill in our short questionnaire.
