Who is my local councillor, MSP and MP?
You can find this information easily using our online mapping system - Localview. Simply type in your address.

Can I look at the electoral roll in the library?
Yes. Each community library has the electoral roll for their area. Paisley Central Reference Library has the electoral roll for all of Renfrewshire. The electoral roll is arranged by address and cannot be searched by name. It is not permitted to photocopy any part of it.

To check if any particular book or other item is in stock, search in our online catalogue. You can reserve it online with your library ticket.

Have you got any information on ..?
Yes. We have books and electronic resources covering all sorts of subjects. You can use some of our resources from home - including Encyclopaedia Britannica and the Dictionary of National Biography. You can also use the Web Gateway; a list of websites selected by our information team.
