Paisley Museum is the home of the Paisley shawl. During the 19th century, this internationally famous garment was made by the weavers of Paisley.

Paisley museum houses the world's largest collection of these shawls and has a permanent display gallery dedicated to telling the story of them, and the people who made them.



The Paisley shawl collection cared for by Renfrewshire Arts and Museums service, is a recognised collection of national significance to Scotland.

Tuesday to Saturday - 10am until 5pm
Sunday - 2pm until 5pm
Public holidays - 10am until 5pm
