British museum. There are over 500 objects, including many fine examples of Scottish ceramics and works by well-known British potters such as Bernard Leach and Lucie Rie.
Studio ceramics are objects that have been made by a single artist or craftsperson who controls all the processes of making the object.
Factory wares are mass-produced items made partly by machine and partly by hand.
The ceramics can be seen at Paisley Museum and displays are changed regularly to show as much of the collection as possible.
