e-Citizen is a new course offered by: It provides a fun and informative way for you to learn how to use the Internet and gain the skills to become a fully-fledged member of the e-society.
The e-Citizen course is free to Renfrewshire library members. Discover how to:
- book cheap flights and holidays
- download music files
- bank online
- fill in your tax returns and use other government services
- access Renfrewshire council services
- learn how to fill in an online form
- shop safely and much more
- handle files and folders
- work with icons and windows
- create a simple document
- browse the net and use email
- search for information
- find out how to use online resources and services
Getting an e-Citizen qualification
- you can sit the e-Citizen test at accredited BCS libraries in Renfrewshire
- there is a small charge of £10 to take the e-Citizen test and if you fail first time you have two free resits
- taking the e-Citizen test is arranged through the test centre manager
