Renfrewshire Council is committed to providing high quality and affordable sports and leisure facilities across the area. The Playing Field Strategy for Renfrewshire has been produced following extensive data collection and analysis, including an assessment of the quality and capacity of existing playing fields.
By 'playing fields', we mean spaces where people can play organised pitch sports such as football, rugby, hockey, cricket, American football and softball.
We consulted on this strategy through a series of meetings and an online survey which took place in 2009.
