Health and Wellbeing Survey -Young People
Renfrewshire CHP (Community Health Partnership), in partnership with Renfrewshire Council's education and leisure services, has commissioned Ashbrook Research and Consultancy to undertake a health and wellbeing survey of secondary school pupils aged 11 - 18.
The study, in the format of a questionnaire, will be completed by all Renfrewshire secondary schools and will involve 50% of pupils within each year group. The study will be undertaken during the autumn 2008 school term.
Information from the study will be used as a baseline from which long-term progress will be measured and to inform the work of community planning partners and individual schools. Good quality data is essential to monitor the progress of initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Renfrewshire.
A copy of the questionnaire, together with an information letter issued to parents/guardians, is available from the Renfrewshire CHP website.
