Margaret Ryan is a children's author and loves writing stories. Margaret was born and brought up in Paisley and she gave up her job teaching because she didn't like sums. Although she has always been good at writing she used to read stories on the radio and on television. She started out writing stories as a hobby - now she gets paid for it. The Airy Fairy books are written by Margaret.
