Internet safety for young people



When the third senior pupils conference took place in Paisley town hall over 100 fourth, fifth and sixth year pupils arrived to participate in discussions about issues that could affect their lives. The theme was 'Safety'.

Workshops and discussion sessions looked at topics involving personal, internet, road and community safety.

The conference was organised by Renfrewshire Council's youth services team and attended by: Libraries joined up with Young Scot and delivered workshops on internet safety that included topics for discussion about: The young people participated eagerly in the workshop and gave their views on all topics. Feedback from them was encouraging. Thanks to all those young people who took part in the day and for all your comments.
