Internet safety for young people
When the third senior pupils conference took place in Paisley town hall over 100 fourth, fifth and sixth year pupils arrived to participate in discussions about issues that could affect their lives. The theme was 'Safety'.
Workshops and discussion sessions looked at topics involving personal, internet, road and community safety.
The conference was organised by Renfrewshire Council's youth services team and attended by:
- Renfrewshire libraries
- Young Scot
- Strathclyde Police
- Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service
- Renfrewshire Youth Voice
- Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament
- Renfrewshire Council on Alcohol (RCA).

Feedback from young people after the workshops showed:
