Recent surveys have shown that children and young people do have concerns around their online privacy. Insafe, the European network of Awareness Centres, promote safe, responsible use of the Internet and mobile devices to young people.
The Insafe campaign for 2010 'Think B4 U post' was developed to support this work.

Insafe also organise 'Safer Internet Day' each year and the topic for 2011 is 'our virtual lives' around the slogan of 'it's more than a game, it's your life'. Participating organisations from around the world have their own profile and use this channel to distribute information about their local events.
