Police Conditional Offers

Home > Services > Council and Government > District Court > Fines

These are tickets issued by Strathclyde Police for driving offences committed within Renfrewshire, for example, for not wearing a seatbelt. The most common type of police conditional offers are those that are endorsable, for example, for speeding.

Endorsable offences can only be accepted if the driving licence is produced, and the fine, presently £60, is paid in full within 28 days. The conditional offer cannot be taken up if the offender is liable for disqualification under the totting system.

If you have a new style driving licence, please produce both the photocard and counterpart driving licence.

If the conditional offer is not paid, then the Procurator Fiscal can prosecute the offender through the District Court.
