The Justice of the Peace Advisory Committee considers the appointment of Justices of the Peace within the area. They make recommendations on appointments to the Secretary of Commissions for Scotland. The Justices appointed are members of the local community.

Please note that, at the moment, the Commission area of Renfrewshire is not appointing any new Justices of the Peace.
