Management rules for new council HQ

Home > Services > Council and government > Council information, performance and statistics > Council policies and plans

After public consultation, we have introduced rules to regulate the use of the council headquarters and the conduct of people in the HQ buildings and its surrounding environment. The rules include prohibitions on skateboarding, rollerblading, skating, ball games, loitering, and cycling and are designed to make the HQ complex a pleasant environment for visitors and reduce nuisance.

Failure to observe the rules is an offence in law and may result in a fine.
