Becoming a Member/Elections

There are various ways you can become a member of your local community council:

You can seek nomination as a member during an election or when an interim election is held to fill vacancies. If an election or interim election is being held, notices to this effect will be displayed throughout your neighbourhood.

If no elections or interim elections are imminent, you could consider becoming a co-opted member.

All candidates for membership must:

* We recognise that candidates who are not yet 18 may not appear on the Electoral Register. If you are under 18, please make sure both of your sponsors are over 18 and are listed on the Register.
