Senior citizens' outing and voucher scheme

You will have the choice of:

• a gift voucher to use between November one year and October the following year to buy goods or services at many shops in the council area. We will let you know the value of the gift voucher if you phone us or call in at our customer service centre. If you contact us, we will also let you know how you can use your gift voucher for a sailing on the Waverly, or at popular hotel venues in Ayr or Dunnoon.
• a credit made to your housing rent or council tax account , if you have one. We will let you know the value of the credit if you phone us or call in at our reception desk.

You will receive your voucher or have written confirmation of which account you want to credit within six weeks of us receiving your application.

You will receive friendly, helpful advice on how the senior citizens scheme works, including information on how to register and what you will need to bring as proof that you qualify, if you phone us or call in at our customer service centre.

You can get copies of the leaflet and application forms at any of our customer service points or by phoning our customer contact centre on 0141 842 5850.

We will automatically re-register you for the scheme each year, and give you a gift voucher or credit.
