Applicants for a private hire driver's licence must:

• be at least 21 years of age; and
• have held a current UK driving licence for at least one year.

Help us to help you
As a courtesy, we send reminder letters to existing licence holders to let you know when your renewal date is approaching. To make sure that you receive your reminder please remember to let us know if you move house. You can do this by completing our change of address form and either handing it in or posting it to us at the address below.
