The holder (or proposed holder) of a taxi licence must use as a taxi only a Hackney metropolitan style vehicle or any other vehicle which has had the prior approval of Renfrewshire Council. The vehicle must be coloured white.

To apply for the grant or renewal of a taxi licence, download, complete and return the application form with the relevant application fee to the licensing section at the address shown below. Use the related content link on the right to check the appropriate fee. Please do not email your application.

To make sure that you receive your reminder please remember to let us know if you move house. You can do this by completing our change of address form and either handing it in or posting it to us at the address below.
