Renfrewshire Council has continued to drive improvement over the past year and has shown overall improved performance.
Our performance indicators are grouped together under the key themes of our council and community plans. These are detailed below.
For each of our key themes, we have highlighted if overall performance has improved, declined or remained the same between 2009/2010 and 2010/2011.

Key successes over the past year have included:
- An increase in the number of council houses which are energy efficient.
- A reduction in the cost of refuse collection and refuse disposal per premise.
- An increase in the percentage of municipal waste collected during the year that was recycled or composted.
- An increase in the savings achieved in line with targets in benefits tracker.
- An increase in the number of people presenting as homeless who were housed in permanent accommodation.
- An increase in the number of home care clients aged 65+ who received personal care.
