Renfrewshire Carers' Centre and Reid Kerr College held a successful information event recently to celebrate Carers' Rights Day.
A large number of organisations attended the event with stands and leaflets on a wide range of carers' rights issues, including carers' assessments, flexible working arrangements and welfare benefits.

There was free legal advice, and experts on hand with information on long term care, employment opportunities and details on local services for carers.
Christine Melville, Development Manager at the Carers' Centre said, "This event has helped individual carers in moving closer to getting the support they deserve - we would like to thank Reid Kerr College for the help they provided in making the event a success".
