How can I promote Fairtrade?
Home > Services > Community and Living > Fairtrade
We can all do something to support the Fairtrade movement. If you help a little or a lot, it all makes a difference to people in Third World countries with the greatest need.
See how many of these suggestions you can do!
- When you go out shopping, look for products that carry the Fairtrade logo.
- Ask for Fairtrade teas, coffees and biscuits to be made available at your workplace.
- For a school, college or university project, write about or give a presentation on Fairtrade. Information packs designed to help with educational work are available from the Fairtrade Foundation website.
- If your community group, social group or church group is looking for a speaker for an event, invite someone to speak about Fairtrade, or offer to do it yourself!
- Arrange a Fairtrade stall for your group meetings, or host a coffee morning with Fairtrade refreshments.
- Volunteer to help in a Fairtrade shop such as Rainbow Turtle.
- Check out the Fairtrade Foundation website for leaflets and posters which you can display in your school, university, workplace or place of worship and help spread the Fairtrade message.
We would love to hear from you if you are interested in Fairtrade.
