Do you want to be part of the next generation of computer games developers? Reid Kerr College have a brand new course starting late August 2006, giving you the opportunity to work within one of the world’s fastest growing entertainment fields.
The Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Computer Games Development will prepare you for the methods used in computer games technology and development of gaming software. Full-time for one year, this programme offers units on 3D Modelling and Animation, DarkBasic and C++ programming and also incorporates some of the latest gaming hardware including Playstation 2 and Xbox.
Successful HNC students have the opportunity to progress onto year 2 of a degree at the University of Paisley. The BSc Computer Games Technology course can help further develop your skills and knowledge within the field of games technology.
Bill Gallacher, senior lecturer in computing at Reid Kerr commented, “This new course represents a fantastic opportunity for students to get a foothold in this exciting area of computing.”
