Calling all IT girls!

Are you looking for a part-time information technology (IT) course to suit your busy lifestyle? Ladies, the 'Women into Technology' programme at Reid Kerr College, Paisley could be for you!

Beginning Monday 6th March, you can come along and study the latest IT packages part-time over a period of 12 weeks and the course is completely FREE! Classes are from 9.30am until 2.30pm to suit any family commitments and a training allowance of £25 per week to help with travel and other costs will be paid to eligible applicants.

A European funded course, the Women into Technology programme can help you become skilled in a variety of computer applications including

Sandra Reid, senior lecturer, Business & Management said, “This is an excellent course which has been extremely successful with a large number of the students subsequently gaining jobs or progressing onto higher level courses”.

Previous student Annemarie McNulty who worked for the AA for over 15 years was recently made redundant added, “I decided to come to college to learn new IT skills, I was used to the in-house system but had no idea how to work any other packages. I realised that if I wanted to get a new job I would need to update my skills. This course has given me the confidence in my abilities and I have since secured a job with a local solicitor's office which I'm very excited about".
