Reid Kerr college recently hosted visitors from one of their Danish partner colleges from South Jutland, Denmark. Principal Finn Karlsen and vice principals Hans Lehmann, Lena Venborg Pedersen, and Bente Lyck-Damgaard all participated in a busy three day programme organised by the college’s Business & Enterprise department.
The visit was beneficial to both Reid Kerr and the Danish delegation as they shared best practice in a variety of areas. The Danish visitors were particularly interested in Reid Kerr’s innovative projects in guidance, counselling, student support and quality systems. Additionally Reid Kerr will be working with their Danish partner to support a joint European benchmarking and development programme.
Principal Joe Mooney said, “Reid Kerr college is pleased to continue to develop its partnership. We are sure that the work we have planned in the next five years and the opportunity to work with Danish staff to exchange best practice and to develop joint projects with other EU member states will bring considerable benefits to the staff and students in both institutions.”
