Renfrewshire Council have dealt with more than 400 call outs to deal with damage caused by the new year storm.
The council's Housing and Property Service have been inundated with repairs such as leaking roofs, broken tiles or slates and broken gutters since January 5.
Bosses are also keen to reassure tenants that any reported damage that have not yet been dealt with are not being ignored and all repairs will be carried out.
Unfortunately due to the exceptionally high volume of calls these cannot all be dealt with as quickly as they would like and a priority system has been put in place.
Councillor Kenny MacLaren, Renfrewshire Council's Housing Spokesperson, said: "Firstly I want to thank the staff for all the hard work and tenants for their patience while we deal with these exceptional circumstances. We know it's been extremely difficult for everyone so their co-operation is really appreciated.
"Since the storm happened we have mobilised every available employee, seven days a week and have appointed all available contractors in an attempt to deal with each situation as quickly as possible.
"However, we still have a high volume of damage to deal with so want to reassure people that we are working as hard as possible to deal with every incident.
"All damage that has been reported will be dealt with so we would ask people not to report any incidents more than once as this can lead to duplicate visits to homes where work has already been carried out and will cause further delays to the progress being made.
"At this stage we are prioritising incidents to ensure that every property is made safe. Once that has been done we’ll go back and carry out any follow up work resulting from damage as a result of water penetration."
Tenants wishing to report damage, who have not already done so, should call Renfrewshire Council's Customer Contact Centre on 0141 842 4444.
