A brand new website aimed at achieving a healthier and more active Renfrewshire is launched today.
The Active Renfrewshire site offers links to local club directories, a user-friendly calendar of events, top tips on health and lots of advice and information about the benefits of being active.
It's aimed at locals of all ages who want to lead a healthier lifestyle by getting involved in sport and fitness and gives a host of information about what the council and local organisations are doing to make Renfrewshire more active.
Councillor Susan McDonald, Renfrewshire Council's Sports Champion said: "I'd urge everyone in Renfrewshire to log on to the new Active Renfrewshire site. It has fantastic new features like a user-friendly calendar of events and club directory links, and generally it aims to tell you all you need to know about what's going on locally for sport and fitness – and how you can get involved.
"Achieving an Active Renfrewshire with more people being more active is one of our top priorities and this is another part of us working to achieve that with our partners. We've got lots of events planned throughout the year – so keep checking our new site for all the latest information."
Check out the Active Renfrewshire website for more information.
