The group came together to mark the end of a year at college and the successful completion of a first aid and 'heartstart' course.
Senior Lecturer in Care, Maureen Macpherson said: “The students have all done exceptionally well during their time at Reid Kerr and they have all shown a great commitment to their studies.”
Student David Rosenthal, 15 and a former Trinity High Pupil added, “I really enjoyed the course at college and felt that I learned a lot. I hope to come back and learn more next year.”
Set up three years ago by Renfrewshire Council’s Education and Leisure Services, Extended New Directions engages 3rd and 4th year pupils and offers students an alternative curriculum targeting the needs of individuals, utilising community resources.
Reid Kerr College has been delivering a series of courses to this group, providing students the opportunity to access qualifications through further education. Following their first year at college, almost all of the students have expressed an interest in taking up courses full-time at Reid Kerr.
