Renfrewshire Council has a strong corporate commitment to the efficient government agenda and has an established track record at national level.

All Scottish councils have agreed to publish an annual efficiency statement which reports on efficiency projects and activities and seeks to quantify the level of efficiency gains achieved.

Renfrewshire Council's statement quantifies the levels of efficiency gains achieved in 2010/11 and gives an indication of expected gains in 2011/12:
