Estonians visit Reid Kerr

Reid Kerr College recently hosted a visit from a group of 8 Estonian teachers from a variety of disciplines, visiting as part of the Leonardo Da Vinci Mobility Project.
Lecturer in training and development at Reid Kerr Susan Whyte said, "The purpose of the visit was to learn about vocational education and training in Scotland and observe Reid Kerr's teaching provision including our staff support and delivery, materials and systems in use, mentoring provision for lecturers (TQFE) and the teaching methodologies used in our classes".
Reid Kerr lecturers from a number of the college’s departments supported the UK programme by sharing their teaching methodology, teaching materials and resources used to deliver courses and support learners. The Estonian visitors were invited to a presentation lunch on the final day of their visit where they met with the College Principal.
