Part-time study brings success for Cheryl

Reid Kerr College Student Cheryl Campbell has shown she has a real flair for nail design after winning 1st prize in both the regional heat and the national final of the Association of Hairdressers & Therapists (AHT) UK contest in Nail Art.
Cheryl who is 18 years old and lives in Dalry, Ayrshire is in her first year of an English Literature degree course at Glasgow University and an infill student at Reid Kerr College studying Artificial Nail Structures.

In order to support herself financially through University, Cheryl decided to gain an industry-recognised qualification, which is required for employment as a nail technician, so she can work part-time while studying at University.
Cheryl said, “I thoroughly enjoyed the course and I intend to come back next year to do another”.
Artificial Nail Structures is delivered on a part-time basis at Reid Kerr College over a sixteen-week period. This programme is but one of many part-time course available at the College.
