Are you currently unemployed?
Reid Kerr College, in conjunction with Renfrewshire Social Work Department are running a free 12 week course for people who are seeking employment as a Home Care Worker.
The course starts on 21st March for 12 hours per week and will include a range of subjects including First Aid, Personal Care and Communications.
On successful completion of the course applicants will be given a guaranteed interview with Renfrewshire Social Work Department for employment as a Home Care Worker.
Senior lecturer, Maureen Macpherson says “This course will provide people with general employability skills as well as a good background in personal care skills. Potential students will be well supported throughout the course by our team of experienced staff.”
An Information Event is being held on Thursday 9th March from 10am-2pm in the Renfrew North Lecture theatre at Reid Kerr College.
