The Have a Heart Paisley website has a brand new feature that will help Buddies adopt a healthy lifestyle.

People all over Paisley can now access the Health Behaviour Change Network, which contains a host of useful information to help people make the kind of changes that will improve their heart health.

“The Network is full of practical tips and advice on how to improve heart health, such as advice on stopping smoking, getting more active and eating more healthily,” said Susan Thompson, Marketing Manager at Have a Heart Paisley. “The ‘What’s On’ section also provides up-to-date information and links to a wide range of local health activities such as stop smoking groups, exercise classes and lunch clubs.”

In addition to providing health information for the people of Paisley, the Network has another important function.

“The Network supports the project’s health coaching service, which is currently being offered to everyone attending our Health Check initiative,” said Susan. “This service links people with their own personal health coach who can help them make the changes they’d like to achieve.”

The Network was launched earlier this week and local people can log on to www.haveaheart.org.uk to find out more.
