Following last year’s successful exhibition the Pentagon Business Centre is once again hosting the art exhibition by Reid Kerr College students.
The exhibition has a largely urban feel to it and comprises of a selection of work based on field studies of Glasgow city centre together with a selection of Life Drawing studies.
It includes a variety of drawing, painting and printmaking work by the College’s NC Portfolio Preparation and HNC Fine Art Environmental students. The work demonstrates individual interpretations, spanning objective and more abstract responses.

Ian Macpherson, Lecturer in Creative Arts said, "Last year’s Pentagon exhibition proved to be very successful and this year’s event has been no exception. The extent of the success and esteem in which we were held is evidenced by our return this year to this professional venue for a more extended show.
Last year’s students impressed with a motivation, maturity and commitment noted by Pentagon staff and this year’s group have once again excelled themselves. The students have proved a credit to themselves, the courses and the college.
Works are for sale and over 20 pieces, totalling approximately £2,000, were sold on the opening night. This amount of work sold is almost 3 times more than the Pentagon’s previous sales record."
The exhibition is on at the Pentagon Business Centre, 36 Washington Street, Glasgow from May to the end of August.
