Ron Morrison - Head of Policy
The Head of Policy reports directly to the Chief Executive and is responsible for the development of corporate policy particularly in the areas of:
- social inclusion
- equalities
- antisocial behaviour
- best value
- efficient government
Other significant areas of responsibility includes civil contingencies planning which also covers plans for business continuity, delivering a communications and public relations service for the Council, managing the corporate planning and performance management framework, driving the quality and improvement programme and co-ordinating the Council's approach to securing external funding from bodies such as the National Lottery.
