Oliver Reid - Chief Executive's Service Manager
The Chief Executive's Service Manager reports directly to the Chief Executive and is responsible for the development of corporate policy, particularly in the areas of:
- social inclusion
- equalities
- antisocial behaviour
- best value
- efficient government
Other significant areas of responsibility includes civil contingencies planning which also covers plans for business continuity; delivering a communications and public relations service for the council; managing the corporate planning and performance management framework; driving the quality and improvement programme; and co-ordinating the council's approach to securing external funding from bodies such as the National Lottery.
