The service improvement plan outlines the work planned for the next three years. Progress with implementation of the service improvement plan is monitored throughout the year and reported every six months to the General Management and Finance Policy Board.
The key strategic objectives of the Council are to:
- Provide and promote learning opportunities which meet the needs and aspirations of individuals, business and communities.
- Support and sustain economic growth which generates work and wealth.
- Make significant progress towards Renfrewshire being one of the healthiest areas in Scotland.
- Provide the best possible support and care to vulnerable individuals.
- Improve and maintain our neighbourhoods and homes.
- Create safe places to live, work and play.
- Raise achievement, set standards and continually improve.
- Ensure our services are designed to meet the needs of all our residents
- Modernise the way we work.
- Develop services in ways which can be sustained.
